Welcome and I'm So Happy to Meet You!

Hello everyone! My name is Brittany and I welcome to your new favorite fashion destination, Modasus!

"What exactly is Modasus (Moe-day-sus)?" is what you're probably thinking right now. Well, Modasus is a lot of things. To start, the word Modasus comes from two words; "moda" which means fashion in Spanish and "sus" which comes from sustainability. Together, they combine to create Modasus, which makes sustainability in fashion a priority.

Sustainability doesn't always have to mean "buy dresses made of paper" or "destroy anything that came from an animal". I know those are extreme examples, but it can mean many different things. As the founder of the company, I believe sustainability is all about how you live. Living sustainably can mean buying second-hand and juicing them up or taking care of the items you've saved up to purchase for years to come or even supporting companies that have missions to lower their eco footprint and provide careers locally or in other countries.

Again, sustainability can mean a lot of things and as a fashion industry, we are trying to move toward greater, so let's do it together!

Alright there will be lots of good stuff going on in the land of Modasus such as antique market runs, pop up shops (going and vending), art and DIY (my fave ❤️), articles about what's going on in the industry and even places and events to go to (if you're located in or near Atlanta, GA, USA)! There will also be displays of new handmade items BUT I'll save that for a later day.....anything I create for posts will be on sale in our shop.
